Elixirs and Tonics

Elixirs are herbal tonics that are sweetened in order to (1) mask the taste of herbs containing bitter alkaloids herbs or (2) promote assimilation of the herbs into the blood stream.

Elixirs often work better than the identical herbs prepared as capsules, tablets, teas, or alcohol extracts. The elixirs are therefore the cornerstones of our product line. To avoid refined sugar, our elixirs are made with honey or molasses.
