Ingrid Naiman was a student of Buddhism and development economist economist before developing the herbal products for Sacred Medicine Sanctuary.  She is totally committed to right relationships with growers, exporters, importers, laboratories, practitioners, and patients.  If there is any way to improve business ethics, please know that she is 100% open to suggestions.

As a matter of principle, every conceivable effort is made to treat the land, the plants, and people as fairly as possible.  Sacred Medicine Sanctuary does not advocate any type of religious or spiritual conversion, but where exchange of energies is concerned, the philosophy underlying this venture is that the way of the future is cooperation, not competition. This belief is carried to the highest level possible: when someone else is already producing a perfectly fine product, not only do we not produce it, but we carry the product and give it the same representation as those custom produced for Sacred Medicine Sanctuary.

Aside from an occasional discount for orders that do not require repackaging, such as full cases, there are no specials or sales.  The reason for this is that we want everyone to make a decent living, and we do not want anyone to pay one price one day and another the next week.  The herb industry is, like Nature Herself, seasonal.  There are fluctuations in availability of herbs depending on weather and inventory levels.  We try to remove some of the unpredictability by planning ahead, guaranteeing growers a continual market for their harvests, and sourcing enough to carry us through all the seasonal highs and lows.
